May 12, 2025

We want to use this Mental Health Awareness Week to celebrate the power and importance of community. ✨

Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times, and give us a sense purpose. These are our tips on how to keep your mental health positive after work hours:

Colouring has been proven to help improve the mindfulness of someone due to them being able to relax and take their mind off the things that ae happening in their life around them. Being able to do colouring after work means that you can wind down, destress and forget about the things happening at work, to help improve your mental health surrounding work-related issues. One place that has a good selection of colouring books for adults is in Waterstones, many different styles to allow everyone the opportunity to colour and destress from the day!
