As part of Waterstones 1 year birthday celebrations, they’ve very excited to welcome author and illustrator Louie Stowell to the store this Sunday 14th August, the creator of Loki: A Bad God’s Guide to Being Good and its brand new sequel Loki: A Bad God’s Guide to Taking the Blame.
As well as doing a comic book workshop Louie will be signing copies of both Loki books. They look forward to welcoming you and your own little gods.

Waterstones has been back on Brentwood High Street for a whole year and they’d love you to come and celebrate with them. There’ll be sweet treats, a party atmosphere and plenty more to celebrate.
They’ll be having game demonstrations on Saturday 13th running from 11am – 4pm including family favourites like Dobble & Cobra Paw for you to enjoy. Gameplay is free but you won’t want to go home without your favourite, so they will be available to purchase.
They also have one of their favourite children’s authors Louie Stowell joining them on Sunday 14th from 3pm for a comic book workshop and to sign her fantastic books starring Loki: The God of Mischief. Tickets for this are free and further details and ticket booking can be found here.
To complete the Birthday celebrations they will also be running an exclusive in-store Double Stamps promotion, so make sure to bring along your Waterstones Plus card or download the Waterstones app before you arrive.
