When you buy a new electrical item from Waterstones, such as a pocket calculator or booklight, you can bring your old like-for-like item into store within 28 days. Show your receipt, and we’ll take care of the rest, safely recycling your old device. The item doesn’t need to have been originally purchased from Waterstones, but it must be similar in type and size to your new product. Please ensure your old item is clean, dry, and safe to handle when returning it in-store. 📲✨
TG Jones
Each year, over 1 million tonnes of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) are thrown away in the UK, often containing chemicals that can harm wildlife, habitats, and human health. That’s why safe disposal and recycling are so important.
