Head to Hey Joe here at The Baytree Shopping Centre on the day, the team has recommend you make sure you join the queue early if there’s something you simply have to get your hands on. They will be opening at 8am & last year the queue began at around 6am. Once we open, they will be letting a few people in at a time so that the RSD section doesn’t get too crowded all at once.
Bar opens at 1pm serving mixers & beers, including the official RSD beer “Double Groove” from Meantime Brewing Company. Live Music starts at 3pm, featuring one of the stores favourite local artists, Jules & more. Working on some special new treats to go with the range of fresh homemade cakes. All the usual coffees, teas, smoothies & milkshakes are available from 11am. Lucy’s photobooth: get a free ‘retro instant photo card’ to keep of you & your purchases, until 9am. Free copy of the book “The Vinyl Revival’ or RSD tote bag for the first 20 customers who buy any 2 or more RSD releases. Free tea or coffee & entertainment from our special RSD party playlist, for everybody queuing early, plus chairs available, once we get in at around 6:30am.In addition, this yearβs official ambassadors The 1975 will be re-releasing their bestselling album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, performed live with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. The album is set to be a sell-out, with loyal fans set to be queuing from the early hours to get their hands on this limited edition vinyl.
